Summer is Right Around the Corner
Summer is only three weeks away, and as I reflect on our fantastic year thus far, I want to extend a huge thank you to our entire board. They have worked diligently to ensure successful programming, engaging social events, and collaboration with Global ICF to maintain our Charter Chapter status. In 2023, our chapter was nominated and recognized for the Chapter Recognition Award!
During International Coaching Week (May 13-19, 2024), many of our chapter members attended our May Chapter Meeting featuring Chariti Gent. She shared "10 Expert Strategies that Make You a Better Coach," and the recording is available for those who missed it. The event was fantastic, providing valuable takeaways to enrich coaching practices. Additionally, we had the pleasure of attending the Michael Bungay Stanier event on May 9th, where over 500 coaches gathered. Bungay Stanier's engaging style and insights into new coaching tools and questions left a lasting impression.
Mark your calendars for our next Chapter Meeting on Tuesday, June 11th, featuring Casey Fuerst. Casey will discuss "Turning Your Coaching Solution into a Proprietary Framework" from 11:30 am to 1 pm CST. Be sure to

Our chapter actively participates in the
Ignite Project, offering pro bono coaching to a local Iowa nonprofit. Between February and April, we provided 13.5 hours of coaching. Stay tuned for an update in July. We extend our gratitude to the coaches who support and contribute to the Ignite Project, as well as to Dick Hannasch for leading this initiative.

Looking ahead, the
2024 Midwest Coaches Conference,
"Flow Boldly," will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio, from September 26th to 28th. Currently, six or more Iowa members are registered to attend, and we invite you to join us!
