Empathetic Coaching - Results without Burnout


This session takes you on a journey through the transformative power of empathy in coaching and its role in achieving outcomes. Learn how coaches can continue to ask empathetic questions, build deeper connections, and drive impactful results without burning out, even when their client is. Explore strategies to maintain engagement, balance empathy with self-protection, and implement practical self-care routines. Empower yourself with the tools and insights needed to sustain your effectiveness as a coach and support leaders in reaching their full potential.

Learning Outcomes: 
  1. Define empathy in coaching and explain its importance in building trust and engagement.
  2. Identify signs of burnout in coaches and clients and describe its impact on outcomes.
  3. Discover and implement 2-3 self-care practices to maintain coaching effectiveness and personal resilience.
  4. Develop strategies to build deeper connections with clients using empathetic question techniques.
  5. Recognize potential risks in coaching relationships and describe ways to mitigate them.
  6. Practice empathetic listening and questioning techniques 
  7. Set personal boundaries to balance empathy with self-protection and avoid emotional exhaustion.
  8. Participate in group discussions to share experiences and strategies for managing burnout.
  9. Commit to action from the session to apply in ongoing coaching practices.
