Greetings and Happy February!
One of my favorite holidays is Valentine’s Day, the season to celebrate connection, relationships, and love. I think this energy is very consistent with our work as Coaches.
We bring good energy to the world through our work. We do this by building a trusting foundation with our clients, co-creating a partnership, promote strong communication practices and cultivate learning and growth. These are the competencies of our profession and the core of how we operate.
I am so proud of this work and the community of professionals who engage in it. We pour into others, but we also must remember to pour back into ourselves. ICF Iowa is a place where we can do that.
As we celebrate this holiday, take a moment to recognize yourself and your gifts. Pause in gratitude for the heart of service you have been given. Take a few minutes to acknowledge the important work you are doing in the world.
