Short Bio: My name is Duane Ites and I began my interest in life coaching 3 years ago. I have since become a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC) through PCCI- Professional Christian Coaching Institute. I am an ACC credentialed coach through the ICF. My life coaching practice is "Ites Christian Coaching”. I have certification in marriage and relationship coaching and am a Certified SYMBIS-Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts, assessment facilitator. My wife and I partner to coach pre-marital and married couples. I am a part time worship leader at our church. I am married with 2 adult children. I enjoy bicycling, walking, and tennis. My first career was as a vocal music educator for 39 years to middle school, high school, and junior college students. My wife retired last month after 32 years teaching music education to middle and high school students. To fully thrive in retirement, my wife and I are on a journey of health and wellness and look forward to traveling together.
Passion for coaching: I really enjoy helping others find a way to live life more fully. I have had the pleasure of coaching clients in several varied life, leadership, and relationship scenarios. Because of my experience in public school systems one of my coaching niches is educators and persons connections to education. I also have passion for coaching people navigating their way through transitions in life. I offer Life, Leadership and Relationship coaching from a Christian perspective. However, I am comfortable offering professional coaching from a secular perspective as well. It is client driven. My life has been enriched by receiving coaching the past few years and I can’t imagine where I would be without the benefits of my own life coaches!
Fun Fact: My favorite sports teams are Minnesota Vikings , and Minnesota Twins- so I am well acquainted with the words- perseverance and loyalty.
