Biography
Dan Solomon, the founder of Cultivate Coaching and Consultation,
is an International Coaching Federation trained coach. He has
served and led diverse organizations, both large and small, in
Pennsylvania, Nebraska and Iowa. In his nearly 40 years of
leadership, Dan has empowered individuals and teams to respond
effectively to the challenges and opportunities facing them. He has
enabled people to discover and claim their gifts and move into their
preferred futures. Increased vitality and transformation have been
the marks of his leadership and work. On numerous occasions he
has enabled people to effectively navigate life transitions.
Dan currently resides in central Iowa with his wife Beth. He is a father to four adult sons, Papa to two
grandchildren and an avid collector of fountain pens (yeah, his family doesn’t understand this either).
Certifications/Qualifications:
• holds the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential from the International Coaching Federation
• a Certified Coach in the ELCA
• currently serves as Coaching Coordinator for Southeastern Iowa Synod (providing oversight to
a network of coaches and providing coaching services to the leaders and pastors of 136
congregations)
• ordained pastor in ELCA since 1986
• Graduate of Luther College and the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia
