Today, Jen brings this experience to her coaching practice, partnering with senior executives who are leading major transformations or stepping into new chapters of purpose-driven leadership. She is known for her grounded presence, incisive questions, and ability to help leaders find clarity, courage, and momentum when the path ahead is uncertain.

Jen lives in Des Moines with her husband, their two children, and their Goldendoodle, Dash. Outside of work, she loves cooking with her family, traveling, serving in her community, and reflecting on the beautifully challenging work of raising kids while living out her calling.

Barb Ranck
Secretary
Barb Ranck is an experienced Certified Life Coach and Facilitator. Barb is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and activating motivated individuals to live their authentic purpose and leave a positive, lasting impact. Barb is a working mom and wife and held a career at a Fortune 500 company while also serving and giving back to the community. She “had it all”, but still felt empty and unfulfilled. Her solution? “Put her head down” and keep pushing ahead. It took a toll on her health, relationships, and energy. So, she embarked on a journey down the path of self-discovery. Her biggest realization was that you don’t have to “work harder” or wait for something (or someone else) to make your life more fulfilling. When she gained this clarity, the emptiness left and the energy returned, and she saw an improvement in her health and relationships. The discovery was so impactful that Barb made it her life’s mission to help others create a fulfilled version of their lives so they can have it all, too. She is a certified life coach through Bridges Coaching, specializing in the Enneagram, a personality profiling tool allowing for guided introspection and reflection.

Lisa Brovold
Membership Ambassador Team
Lisa Brovold is an intuitive listener who felt more ‘at home’ at the first exposure to coaches and coaching than at any other time in her life. A varied background from interior design to financial services and fraud investigation to administrative work in real estate and other industries led her to knowing a lot of what didn’t fit and the discovery of coaching DID fit/feel right.

She believes in building a firm foundation of what is working and taking appropriate steps (sometimes tiny and sometimes BIG!) to move toward a happy, fulfilled life. She created Breathing Space Coaching, LLC to help people quiet the noise so they can hear THEMSELVES. To help ‘busy’, overwhelmed ‘do-ers’ learn to slow down and put more LIFE in their life. Currently working toward her Associate Certified Coach credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), she is a graduate of the Center for Coaching Excellence and is a former Membership Director for ICF Iowa. Creating community and connecting/making connections are part of her passion.

Seeing that with the right tools and questions she can help others gain clarity, see possibilities they may not see for themselves, set goals (both large and small) and with ‘kind accountability’ help them move forward to reach those goals helped her create a vision for making the world a brighter place.
