Flowing into Fall and Q4 2024

Happy Fall to each of you! Attending the Flow Boldly Conference in Cincinnati was incredible. Meeting with other like-minded coaches and colleagues in person filled my joy cup. Key takeaways included the fulfillment of networking with coaches from the Midwest region, abundant energy, and learning within every conversation. The breakouts and main stage sessions were full of new ideas to utilize in my practice. Attending all MCDC Conferences is a must for my coaching skills, networking, and business growth.

The 2026 Midwest Coaches Development Conference will be held in Des Moines! We are proud and thrilled to be the upcoming host city. Please reach out to anyone on the board if you are interested in helping plan and volunteer for the committees. It will take many hands, and we have the team to do it! Save the Date: September 23-26, 2026, at the Downtown Des Moines Marriott.

IOWA BUSINESS OWNERS: Please be aware of federal reporting requirements that took effect on January 1, 2024 that may require you to report your business entity's beneficial ownership information to the federal government. Learn more about these requirements and review informational materials by visiting the dedicated webpage maintained by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) at www.fincen.gov/boi.

FIND OUT IF YOUR BUSINESS IS IMPACTED: A Small Entity Compliance Guide has been issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) to help small businesses understand the reporting requirements and determine if they are required to report their beneficial ownership information.

Coaches & Coffee was started as a group for coaches internal to organizations. This coffee connection is expanding to welcome internal coaches throughout Iowa. We will continue to meet monthly, alternating in-person and virtual meeting modes. We look forward to meeting more of you!
