The Human Touch

A decade ago, I was sitting in an icy conference room in Pasadena, California, alongside a cohort of eager, bright coach trainees. We were there to learn the tools, techniques, and coaching moves that would help our clients.

You can imagine how surprised I was when our coach trainer’s first question was, “Where are you?”

Instantly, the question caught me off guard. I was there, physically, but my mind was somewhere else. I was daydreaming about what they might serve for lunch that day. I was anxious about the e-mails burning a hole in my inbox. I felt confused, maybe even a little annoyed.

I had no idea that this simple question would change the trajectory of my coaching journey forever.

Coaches and Coffee - A Monthly Connect for Internal Coaches

Coaches and Coffee is going fully virtual! Our special interest group for internal organizational coaches will be held (via Zoom) on the fourth Thursday of each month, from 12-1:00 PM. Please join us to share, collaborate, and learn about all things internal coaching!

Coaches' Circle: Midday Edition

Join fellow coaches every Monday at 11:30-12:30 for a chance to connect!

Our calls are focused around accountability. You are invited to share your focus or intention for the upcoming week and your progress from the prior week. It is a place to celebrate your wins, AND to share areas where you are challenged. Conversations primarily revolve around our roles as coaches or business creating/building, yet life outside of coaching also comes into play.

To ensure we all have the opportunity to contribute, the first part of the call is roughly 3 minutes per person as indicated above.

Time remaining is used to network, expand on a topic, etc.

We will share our experience and opinions, not answers. These sessions will not be recorded, as we want to encourage candid conversation and a safe space for all.

ICF Credentialing Information

Are you an ICF Global member seeking an ICF credential?

The 2025 ICF Credentialing Webinar Series is available in the ICF Learning Portal’s Course Catalog. There are six prerecorded sessions:
  • The Value of ICF Credentialing,
  • Reviewing the ICF Credentialing Requirements,
  • Renewing Your ICF Credential,
  • Introduction to the ICF Written Exams,
  • Earning the Advanced Certification in Team Coaching,
  • Updates to the ICF Code of Ethics
A total of 0.5 CCE units in Core Competency and 1.25 CCE units in Resource Development are available upon webinar series completion.

During these one-hour calls, our team will be available to answer all your questions about the credentialing requirements and the process to earn or renew an ICF credential.
